Meet Christine

Christine Enetak is a philanthropic strategist and nonprofit consultant with over a decade of experience helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their funding strategies, leadership pipelines, and internal capacity. As Principal Consultant at Grounded in Equity, LLC, she partners with nonprofits to design sustainable, equity-centered fundraising models and lead strategic planning initiatives that support long-term impact.

Enetak’s consulting practice is grounded in both executive experience and systems-level insight. She is the founder and former Executive Director of a grassroots health equity organization in West Michigan, which she successfully guided through a strategic merger. That experience shaped her enduring commitment to succession planning, governance excellence, and leadership transition as essential pillars of organizational resilience.

As a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) and certified Nonprofit Succession Planning Consultant, Enetak’s expertise spans grant development, resource strategy, board engagement, and cross-sector collaboration. She regularly advises nonprofit leaders, funders, and boards on how to align structure with mission and invest in talent for sustainable growth.

With more than ten years of speaking experience, Enetak has presented widely on strategic philanthropy, culturally responsive fundraising, and board practices that reflect equity principles and community values. Her work is distinguished by its clarity, integrity, and commitment to advancing impact through both funding and leadership.

How do you intend to use the funds?

I plan to attend AFP ICON in April 2026. Attending this conference will deepen my understanding of best practices, strengthen my expertise as I prepare for CFRE certification, and enhance my ability to apply innovative, equity-centered strategies within my community and across my client and mentee portfolio.
